When should we start grooming our dogs ?
Many dog owners have the mind set that dog grooming should not be groomed early. Infact, dogs should be
exposed to baths and grooming from young. It is the best time for them to get used to proper grooming as
this helps in dog obedience too.
Preparing your dog by touching your dog’s ears, feet, face, wiping them with a towel, brushing and bathing
them. After each session is done, remember to praise your dog, and reward them with their favorite treats.
When conducting grooming with your dog, use the appropriate pet grooming tools recommended by the pet
grooming schools such as dog grooming tables, dog grooming brush, dog nail clippers , dog shampoos and
many more.
Encouraging good grooming habits early in your dog’s life will also make things a lot easier for you. Checking
for their skin problem, mats and allergies will be a breeze.
