Hi my dear friends,
I just want to tell (bark) that my operation is done and that I’m home!
At the moment I’m sleepy and I have alot of pain.
But I’ve got some medicines that I can take so the pain will go away.
My mommy is very happy that the operation is done,
cause she was very,very scared and nervous.
But everything is done and I’m back home.
I want to thank you for all the thoughts and prayers!

These dogs can swim. They are so brave to just dive into the pool to get to the ball. Dusty is the 1st dog to jump into the pool followed by Sam. After Dusty caught the ball and left the pool, Sam continued parading his swimming skill around the pool. So cool . This video is by doxieboys

I worked at a grooming shop bathing dogs when this cute little pup came in. Bailey when I first saw her

She was the cutest little thing I had ever seen. I found out the owner was looking for a home for her because the lady could not care for her and her 8 year old daughter didn’t take care of her. At first, they decided to keep her, the daughter loved her too much. About a month later, the lady called back, asked if i wanted her. I had already adopted another dog from the local shelter.

I was told a large dog and a small dog would not make a good match. Emmy was a Shepherd mix and Bailey was a small Yorkie mix. Well, I decided, I was going to take her anyway. I was so in love with this little pup. I had always wanted a Yorkie and the cost was unfathomable. Her name was Bailey and I thought the name so adorable and perfect, I kept it. The two became best of friends, they were inseparable.

When I took one to the shop, the other one was sad. They did everything together, they chased through the house, Emmy would be chasing Bailey and then, Bailey would be chasing Emmy. It was so fun to watch them play.

Who can say these two were not meant for each other? They thrived on each others’ company. Sad when one was away.

One day my Emmy was outside, I was trying to train her off leash and she darted from me. She usually went for the ducks at the lake, but this time she headed the other way. We were about a foot from our doorway. I don’t know why she ran.

I guess I will never know, I blamed myself. She ran through the neighborhood, we looked for her, called her. We could not find her. The next day, she was found in a field next to a children’s playground. She had been hit by a semi on a busy highway and had run to a grove of trees and expired. My precious Emmy. Gone at 3 years old.My heart was broken and is broken still.

Bailey grieved for her. She saw her leave and waited at the driveway for her to come back. She did this for a long time, she would go to the end of the driveway and wait. It was sad. I tried to tell her Emmy was gone, but how do you make a dog understand that? The next week, I was so lost, I still had Bailey, my love, but my other love was gone. I went back to the shelter and saved another dog.

This one I named Rudy. Bailey didn’t accept him as well as I had hoped. She tolerates him. Other times, she goes over and kisses him. Then came Little Bit.

Bailey once again had a sister to play with. They get along very well and Little Bit plays with Rudy.

All dogs great and small, they get along. I love my dogs so much

Introducing my boss, Mr Pug. He is a very intelligent dog. He does nothing but just sit there everyday and order order order.  I am his Personal Assistant, Poppy.

Then they have the  doggies  doing their jive moves called the Jive Dance.  Some call it The Swing. The Jive swing is a lively dance. It required a couple and swing from hand to hand.

Oh what dance is this ?  It is call the Samba. Some may call it Salsa. Pretty similar in certain ways.

Wow… this dog is worth having in our house. Well trained dog. Untrained dogs can be very frustrating
especially when they do not obey.

The owner bought this Robotics  robot home  and started playing with it, they then
realised that their resident guard was none too pleased.  Watch this interesting vid

10-year-old , Sussex spaniel (that’s 70 in dog years) became the oldest dog to win Best in Show in the 133-year history of the Westminster Kennel Club’s annual event. The dog, known as Stump, was also the first Sussex spaniel to win the prestigious award. As he plodded around the ring, the crowd went wild, clearly delighted by both his breed and his advanced age, not to mention his adorable demeanor.

Can old dogs learn new tricks? Would they want to?

It was the first time that a Sussex spaniel won the top prize, although the breed, which originated as a hunting companion in England, was among the first to be recognized by the American Kennel Club.

Judge Sari Brewster Tietjen said she made her decision at the last minute.

“I didn’t know who he was or how old he was,” Tietjen said. “He’s just everything that you’d want in the breed, and I couldn’t say no to him.”

Stump eventually returned to health, and by last year he was looking quite good. Still, Sommer said he was not sure until last Wednesday that he would definitely show Stump at Westminster.

North Texas authorities found 22 dogs found crammed inside a station wagon with their owner. Doors was locked by the owner and refused to leave the car when the police tried  to serve her a warrant for the seizure of the dogs on Monday.

Two puppies and 20 dogs were taken to a shelter until a judge decides who gets custody, the SPCA said. A hearing on the custody of the animals is set for Feb. 16 in Denison.

The dogs were in the car along with a pot of water, blankets and waste.

“The car was soaked with urine and covered in feces. The ammonia level in the vehicle was 23 parts per million even after the doors had been opened for several minutes. As a frame of reference, humans start experiencing health issues at 12 parts per million,” Courtney Stevens, SPCA of Texas rescue and investigations supervisor, said in a news release.

The owner does not face charges, Grayson County constable Michael Putman said. She was not coherent and the SPCA said it has contacted Adult Protective Services about the woman.

The puppies and dogs look healthy and I hope they will be adopted soon by pet lover family.

Most dogs get ear infections pretty often. Dogs with pendulant ears such as shih tzus, socker spaniels as well as dogs with hair growing from the inside of their ear. Infections of the ear can be cause by many things around the dog. One of the most common and easiest cause of the infection is when you bath your dog, water gets into their ear easily. The liquid that stays inside the ear will get sticky, dark coloured and will create a bad odor for your dog. Dog ear care  is essential. Especially when you have bathed your dog, use a soft fabric towel and clean the inner ear. You dont have to clean your dog’s ear daily because this will remove the natural wax from your dog’s ear. Whenever you take your dog out socialising, be sure to check for ear mite and fleas. This infection not can cause ear problem it can also cause  various skin diseases and eventually lead to blood infection. Look out for the sand, leaves, insects that can stick in their ears as well. These items may carry some bacteria too. For dogs with chronic ear infection  should seek the advise of your vet and apply the prescribed medication on your dog. These are what you need for cleaning your dog’s ear : Home remedy for ear infection :

• Use ear powder for dog from pet store.
• Spray powder straight into your dog ear
• When your dog’s ear is dry,use a tweezer to remove the exta hair from the external ear
• Use a moist muslin cloth to remove extra wax in your dog’s ear

President  Barack Obama told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on Sunday that the dog will probably be a “Labradoodle” (that’s me) or a “Portuguese Water Hound.”  These dogs are  considered good choices for kids as well as adults with allergies . Me, the Labradoodle breed, is a cross of  Standard Poodle and the yellow and black Labradors. We are good companion dogs and we are popular as home pets and have made many families happy. It seems they have narrowed down the breed of dogs list to Labradoodle or a Portuguese water hound and they are all out looking for us. I am sure my dream will come true.
